the american division

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

it is almost everyday that you can hear about the unity in america. that unity in part coming from the diverse backgrounds, orientations and so forth. Politics in a whole interest me, as do any aggressive 'sport.' What of course comes as nearly annoying is this underlying bigotry that exists. You may have heard it in the recent tea party protests an the prop 8 'war' going on. What essentially goes on is this unity until the 'differences' arise. At Parsons, i take a class on queer culture and this divide is clearly evident as race was in the 50s and gender in the early 20s. What you can see hear is this divide that transcends all rationalisation and compassion for any other party involved. these issues do exist, still, and are moreso ruling the states where the voice in power tends to be the voice of no reason. so here is yet another depiction of this straightforward lack of respect and belief of entitlement displayed by a fox reporter towards pres. obama.
