menoftheday: JIM NELSON




Ive always had an obsession w/ GQ. Even when i was in denial about getting into menswear I'd be reading a GQ in church during preaching and smirk at the Verge section. Yeh, that bad...haha and tearing out spreads to put on my walls. It comes as no surprise that the brains behind the genius mag, that is GQ, is Jim Moore. His start there as the E-in-Chief was practically when i started to have an affair with the 'book.' It's also great to see that after almost 7 years with the position and nearly 65-70 hours/week in work, that the guy seems to always be relaxed. I think Ive seen his tie tied tightly as much I've seen Pete Cashmore actually tie his tie ;)

Take it as you'd like, but it doesn't hurt to start the sucking up early on w/ my obsession of getting that GQ Designer of the Year title, right ;)
